Immunity-Boosting Smoothie Recipe

Oranges, lemons, grapefruits and other citrus fruits are a great source of vitamin C, but did you know that strawberries, mango, papaya and pineapple are also packed with this essential, immunity boosting ingredient? 

We recommend using one cup of freshly squeezed orange juice as your smoothie base, and adding 1 & ½ cups of the vitamin C packed fruit mixture of your choice. We like frozen strawberries, pineapple and papaya, but you can experiment and mix it up any way you like! 

Supplements

Add ½ cup of yogurt and if you’re dairy free, try almond or coconut milk instead. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh squeezed OJ
  • 1 & ½ cups frozen fruit (strawberries, mango, papaya, pineapple)

  • 1 teaspoon fresh minced ginger
  • ½ cup live yogurt (substitute almond or coconut milk if dairy free) 

Directions:
